Come sit on the porch with me for a minute.
It’s been a little busy around here lately… and if I’m being honest, not all of it is the kind you can easily see.
Behind the scenes, I’ve been working on revamping the website—slowly putting things into place, adding items that are already made, and trying to build something that feels as welcoming online as it does out here on the porch.
🧵 In between all of that, I’ve been spending time in my stitching corner… just learning, creating, and enjoying the quiet of it. There’s something about sitting down with a simple project that settles your heart a bit. And I’ve recently added a new pink chair in there—it’s quickly become my favorite place to sit and stay awhile.
🐓🐇 Out on the homestead, life keeps moving too. The rabbits have been bred, and now we wait… hoping that in a few weeks we’ll have babies. The chickens, of course, are doing their part—laying eggs and keeping us supplied like they always do.
💞 And in the middle of all of it, I’ve been trying to soak up as much time as I possibly can with my grandbaby… because those moments matter more than anything else on the list.
And if I’m being honest… a few evenings have been spent winding down, a little too invested in a new TV series. Sometimes you just need something simple to help you sit still for a minute.
I think that’s what this season feels like—full, but in a quiet, steady way. Not everything is big or exciting on the outside, but there’s a lot being built, tended, and cared for in the everyday moments.
So if life feels a little full on your end too, just know you’re not alone in it. Keep tending what’s in front of you. It matters more than you think.
If you’d like to see what I’ve been working on, feel free to take a look around while you’re here.
There are items available from my stitching corner, along with offerings from the kitchen made with fresh-milled flour.
“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9
There’s always a place for you here.
💌 If this felt like something someone else might enjoy, feel free to share it with a friend.
With grace,
Pam
